Seetec is delighted to announce the launch of its Careers Guidance Services for Schools.
This is a national offer – delivered by locally-based careers advisers – providing bespoke services to meet the individual needs of schools.
Seetec’s offer is for all schools and is designed to be student-centred and aspirational for all young people.
As an employee-owned company, Seetec’s knowledge, skills, and experience within the careers and employability sector, will provide a significant impact within education, supporting students as they make big decisions about their journey towards employment.
We will support parents and teachers too, by delivering a service that offers the highest quality guidance and advice for everyone.
Seetec will support schools by providing level 6/7 qualified careers advisers to provide Personal Guidance Services (Gatsby 8) and Addressing the Individual Needs of Young People (Gatsby 3).

What are the Gatsby Benchmarks?
The Gatsby Benchmarks were developed on behalf of the Gatsby Foundation by Sir John Holman.
They define what world class careers provision in education looks like and provide a clear framework for organising the careers provision at your school or college.
The benchmarks are enshrined in statutory guidance and as a careers leader, it is your responsibility to oversee the implementation of the benchmarks in your education setting.
The eight Gatsby Benchmarks are:
- A stable careers programme
- Learning from careers and labour market information
- Addressing the needs of each student
- Linking curriculum learning to careers
- Encounters with employers and employees
- Experiences of workplaces
- Encounters with further and higher education
- Personal guidance
