Strengthening integration and collaboration
Employment and good health go hand in hand. Recognising this, Seetec recently welcomed health, wellbeing and community partners from across Breckland to its Connecting Work, Health and Wellbeing event, designed to strengthen collaboration and improve access to employment support.
Delivered by Seetec on behalf of Norfolk County Council, Connect to Work helps people living with health conditions, disabilities and other complex barriers find and sustain meaningful employment through personalised support. The event provided an opportunity for professionals to build relationships, share knowledge and explore how partnership working can create better outcomes for local people.
Sharing ideas to help local people
Hosted by Seetec Employee Owners Louise and Hannah opened the day with a hot drink and overview of Seetec.
Delegates then explored Connect to Work, highlighting the vital role of health and community organisations.
This event helped partners share their ideas and strengthened referral pathways to improve access to employment support.

Expert Insights
Delegates heard from three inspiring guest speakers, each offering a different perspective on the relationship between health, wellbeing and work.
Lorna Vyse spoke about bereavement and loss, Verena Niyadurupola explored positive mindset, and Diane Danzebrink highlighted the impact of menopause in the workplace.
Interactive activities and networking sessions encouraged delegates to continue conversations, exchange ideas and strengthen professional relationships throughout the day.
We’ve had three amazing speakers today covering subjects that present as barriers to work for people in Breckland, integrating this support into our Connect to Work offer will help the local residents to overcome their barriers to work.
