Creating more inclusive workplaces: Seetec and My Support and Care Services

Creating an inclusive workplace is about more than opening the door to opportunity. It’s about making sure recruitment processes and working environments give everyone the chance to demonstrate their strengths and succeed.

As part of National Inclusion Week 2026, we’re celebrating the employers we work alongside in our local communities who are helping to make this a reality.

In Honiton, our team has developed a strong relationship with My Support and Care, an employer committed to creating opportunities for people who are neurodivergent and ensuring their recruitment practices are inclusive and accessible.

Removing barriers through inclusive recruitment

Traditional recruitment processes don’t always allow people to demonstrate what they can bring to a workplace. For someone who is neurodivergent, elements such as the way an interview is structured, how questions are communicated or the environment in which recruitment takes place can create additional barriers.

By being open to adapting these processes, employers can create a more level playing field, while opening their organisation up to a wider and more diverse pool of talent.

Our Employer Account Executive, Pippa Penny, sat down with the team at My Support and Care Services to hear more about their approach, why inclusion is important to their organisation and the practical ways they adapt their recruitment practices to support neurodivergent candidates.

The conversation also explores the value of employers working closely with organisations like Seetec to understand individual needs, remove unnecessary barriers and help people access opportunities where they can thrive.

Watch the video to hear directly from My Support and Care about their approach to inclusive recruitment and creating opportunities for neurodivergent people.

At Seetec, we work closely with employers in the communities we serve to understand their recruitment needs, connect them with local talent and encourage inclusive employment practices that enable more people to access and sustain meaningful work.

By bringing people, employers and places together, we can help create workplaces where difference is recognised, barriers are challenged and more people have the opportunity to fulfil their potential.
