What a day to celebrate the future of freight forwarding! On 15th January 2026, the BIFA Freight Service Awards 2025, including the highly anticipated Apprentice of the Year category, brought together the best of the UK’s freight forwarding community at The Brewery, central London venue. From inspiring apprentices to industry leaders, the event was a true showcase of talent, dedication, and innovation.
Ceremony overview
The day ran from 11:30am to 5:00pm, starting with a welcome reception, followed by networking opportunities over a delicious meal, and culminating in the much – anticipated awards ceremony.
Guests enjoyed a fantastic atmosphere, sharing stories, achievements, and plenty of celebratory moments.
The event brought together professionals from across the industry, creating a space to connect, collaborate, and recognise outstanding contributions. Laughter, applause, and heartfelt speeches filled the room as winners were announced, making the occasion both memorable and inspiring for everyone in attendance.
Highlighting the Apprentices
The BIFA Apprentice of the Year award was one of the most exciting moments of the day. Our very own Seetec apprentices, Joseph Duffy from Metro Shipping Ltd, Veronika Litterová from Avocet Clearance Ltd, and Dylan Cheesman and Nathan Brooks from Unsworth, were all recognised for their hard work, passion, and commitment within the freight industry.

Winner: Apprentice of the Year 2025
Veronika Litterová from Avocet Clearance was crowned BIFA Apprentice of the Year 2025 Winner, impressing the judges with her dedication, professionalism, and hard work.
Her tutor, Karla McCluskey, provided invaluable 1-1 support, helping her achieve this incredible milestone. Let’s raise a virtual glass of bubbly and congratulate Veronika! 🍾
