Colleagues and customers at our Pluss training units in Plymouth are looking forward to being featured on their local radio station.
BBC Radio Devon’s morning presenter, Caroline Densley, spent a couple of days with the team this week, recording interviews which will be broadcast as mini packages over five consecutive days in March.

From lawnmowers to hammers
Caroline spent time finding out all about the support Pluss offers and wasn’t short of some fantastic sound effects for the features – as she moved between the gardening, woodworking, confidential shredding and light packaging and assembly units.

Thanks for letting me visit and talk to so many incredible people this week, I’ve learnt loads and got plenty of wonderful content from it.

Caroline also took the opportunity to speak to some of the wider team including Brandon, an intern with Project Search at Derriford hospital, and Dan who originally came looking for support from Pluss and ended up landing himself a job with Seetec’s Community Interest Company.
You’ll be able to listen to all the reports when they are broadcast on Caroline’s show, Monday 17 – Friday 21 March, 2025.
If you live outside the broadcast area, you’ll find BBC Radio Devon on BBC Sounds too.
And the icing on the cake is that, as a thank you, a group of customers will be popping into BBC Devon to watch Caroline present one of her shows – before being given a tour of the building, which is whispered to include an opportunity for some photos on the red sofas in the regional TV news studios; Spotlight.
