To mark the start of National Apprenticeship Week 2026, Seetec proudly attended the Parliamentary Reception at the House of Lords on the 9th of February 2026. Hosted by former Education Secretary Baroness Morgan, the event took place ahead of the Apprenticeships & Training Conference Gala Dinner on 3rd March 2026.
Our CEO, John Baumback, represented Seetec as a 2026 National Finalist for Specialist Training Provider of the Year, in partnership with City & Guilds.
The Reception & Networking
John joined 94 fellow National Finalists, selected from over 650 nominations – a huge achievement, along with sector leaders to celebrate the start of #NationalApprenticeshipWeek at the Parliamentary Reception, marking the beginning of an exciting awards season. 🎖️
The reception provided an opportunity to reflect on the impact of high-quality apprenticeship training across the UK and the dedication of the teams who deliver it every day. The event was filled with energy, engaging discussions, and networking over drinks, creating a vibrant atmosphere to acknowledge the nation’s best in apprenticeships and training.
