Dr Amer’s story

Dr Amer was referred to Seetec Pluss by the Jobcentre in Dorset, after moving to the UK from Ukraine. 

In Ukraine, Dr Amer had a very successful coffee house and roastery business that had been thriving for over 12 years. When the war began, his business sadly had to close, but he was determined to continue it’s legacy here in the UK.

Dr Amer’s Self-Employment Adviser, Ryan, supported him to register with the Federation for Small Businesses, complete all the necessary checks and even ship his machinery over from Ukraine. Now, Luve Coffee House and Roastery UK is successfully trading and Dr Amer is even looking to build his team to expand the growth of his business.

Ray’s story

Ray was referred to The Restart Scheme in the North West (delivered by Seetec Pluss on behalf of G4S) by his Work Coach at the Job Centre.

Although he was there looking for a job, he really wanted to start his own business and after meeting the Seetec Pluss North West team at our Ellesmere Port office, he realised his dream could become reality.

Ray is a qualified chef and during the Covid 19 lockdown he used much of his time studying and gaining certificates in Nutrition and Diet. He had all the ideas for his new business, but needed some support and guidance in putting them into practice. Working with his coaches, Ray and Lynn, it wasn’t long before Ray’s dream became a reality….
