As proud sponsors of the NHS Norfolk and Suffolk Integrated Care Board’s Health and Care Expo26, Seetec showcased the power of confidence, partnership and person-centred employment support while launching a new initiative to strengthen collaboration across health and community services.
Held at Newmarket Racecourse, Expo26 brought together health professionals, community organisations, employers and residents with a shared ambition to improve health, wellbeing and opportunities for people across Norfolk and Suffolk.
For Seetec, the day was an opportunity to demonstrate how confidence and collaboration can change lives.
Celebrating confidence
One of the highlights of the day was the Confidence Catwalk, where Seetec’s Employee Owners joined colleagues from across the health and care sector to celebrate resilience, individuality and self-belief.
The catwalk reflected something we see every day through Connect to Work: confidence is often the first step towards achieving positive change. Whether returning to employment, managing a health condition or taking on a new challenge, believing in yourself can open the door to new opportunities.
Charlie’s story inspires delegates
A powerful moment came when Connect to Work participant Charlie took to the main stage to share her personal journey.
With honesty and courage, Charlie spoke about rebuilding her confidence through personalised support and the impact this has had on her future. Her story demonstrated how the right support, delivered at the right time, can empower people to overcome barriers and move closer to sustainable employment.
Charlie’s experience resonated with delegates from across the health and care system, reinforcing the importance of working together to deliver holistic, person-centred support.
Building stronger partnerships
Throughout the day, Seetec welcomed visitors to its exhibition stand, where colleagues shared information about Connect to Work and discussed how collaborative partnerships can create more inclusive employment opportunities for local people.
Expo26 also provided the ideal setting to launch Seetec’s new Clinical and Community Panel.
The panel brings together health professionals, voluntary and community organisations, and local partners to share expertise, strengthen referral pathways and ensure people receive coordinated support that improves both health and employment outcomes.
By working together, we can better address the barriers people face and help more individuals build confidence, improve wellbeing and achieve sustainable employment.
