At Seetec, we believe that safer communities are built by giving people the tools, support and opportunities to change their lives.
Our specialist teams work with 70% of the UK’s prisons, offering evidence-based programmes designed to prepare individuals for successful resettlement and rehabilitation — helping to reduce reoffending and create positive futures.
Our work in custody focuses on supporting people at every stage of their journey — from developing new skills and confidence in prison, to finding stable accommodation and meaningful work on release.
CFO Evolution – supporting rehabilitation through progression and purpose
Delivered on behalf of HMPPS CFO, the CFO Evolution programme supports participants from their time in custody through to their return to the community, helping them achieve successful rehabilitation and reduce the risk of reoffending.
Our teams work in eight prisons across the UK, including a dedicated CFO Evolution wing at HMP Portland. The programme provides tailored support for individuals who face multiple or complex barriers, helping them engage with mainstream services and move towards independent, sustainable lives.
The programme is built around a seven-stage progression model, offering clear structure, personal development and a sense of purpose. Through safe and supportive spaces, participants can engage in activities designed to:
- Improve wellbeing and self-confidence
- Develop practical skills for employment and reintegration
- Build connections with mainstream services and community networks
- Encourage participation that supports desistance from offending
By focusing on personal growth and practical outcomes, CFO Evolution plays a vital role in helping complex cohorts reintegrate successfully and build brighter futures.

Accommodation Support – creating stability for sustainable change
A stable home is one of the most important foundations for a new start.
Our Accommodation Support service helps people completing a prison sentence secure safe, suitable housing — improving their chances of successful rehabilitation and reducing the risk of reoffending.
Drawing on our specialist housing knowledge and extensive partnerships, we provide practical, tailored housing solutions that meet the individual needs of each participant.
To date, over 9,500 people we’ve worked with have found a home or are now living independently.
By ensuring individuals have a secure place to live upon release, we support stability, confidence and long-term reintegration into the community.
Working together to tackle housing challenges
Our accommodation support programme offers help to participants who are completing a prison sentence and need assistance with their housing journey.
Careers Information, Advice and Guidance – building pathways to employment
Our Careers Information, Advice and Guidance (CIAG) service helps prisoners understand and access the pathways available to them in custody — and prepare for employment, training or education opportunities on release.
Through one-to-one guidance and group sessions, our team provides tailored support to help individuals:
- Identify their skills and interests
- Explore education and training options
- Build confidence and employability
- Set realistic goals for a positive future
By focusing on rehabilitation through education and work, the CIAG service helps participants build a foundation for independence and success — key factors proven to reduce reoffending and support safer communities.
Strengthening careers provisions with expert support
A careers guidance (CIAG) offer for schools and colleges, providing parents, teachers and students with high quality support.
