Seetec works with the Probation Service to support people on probation to build a better future and improve their wellbeing.
To support this work, we have developed volunteering opportunities that directly support participants to make positive changes in their lives
If you are keen to support people on probation to build a better future and improve their wellbeing, we’d love to hear from you!
We are committed to helping people break down the barriers they may face.
Ultimately, our aim is to equip individuals with the necessary skills needed to desist from offending and successfully reintegrate into their local communities.
At Seetec, we recognise that volunteers contribute enormously to our mission and bring great benefits such as:
- Providing valuable links with the local community
- Bringing new skills and interests
- Acting as a positive role model
- Complementing and enhancing the work of Seetec
As well as the opportunity to make a difference, you will also gain:
- Valuable work experience leading to increased career opportunities
- New and improved skills
- Personal development and achievement
- An opportunity to meet new people
We currently have two volunteering roles
1
Resettlement Support (RS) Volunteer
This role supports our Accommodation Support and Personal Wellbeing services.
You will predominantly work with participants on a one-to-one basis.
This can be remote, in the community or in a specific site, i.e., local probation office.
