If you’re unemployed and live in Great Yarmouth, New Doors can support you to boost your skills and build your confidence with the aim of finding a job which suits you.

If you’re unemployed, aged between 18 and 65, and live in the borough of Great Yarmouth, New Doors can help.

Our dedicated community coach can help you to connect with local opportunities by offering access to training and learning in a range of areas including vocational skills, employability skills, English and Maths, and more.

You’ll learn new skills to complement your CV.

We’ll also help you gain a sense of connection to others in your community through volunteering. This helps build your confidence, whilst also supporting a good cause.

Taking up volunteering is a great way to show dedication to potential employers.

We will help you build experience in the workplace, work alongside local employers, and gets some hands-on learning.

A work experience placement is a great way to trial new roles and meet employers.

And we’ll support you to move into work with access to group support and dedicated one-to one coaching and mentoring from our team of experienced advisors.

New Doors Great Yarmouth receives funding from the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.

Eligibility

To be eligible for support from the New Doors project you just need to be:

  • Unemployed
  • Aged 18-65
  • Living in the borough of Great Yarmouth
