We understand that taking those last steps into work is not always easy – particularly if you’re managing a disability or health condition.
We can support you even if you think of your health condition as relatively minor!
Our dedicated employment advisers will support you to return to work quickly, and offer 1:1 advice and coaching to help you stay there!
Working Well Norfolk can also help if you’re already in work and are struggling due to a disability or health condition.
We’ll provide in-work support for you and your employer to help you keep your job. For example, through arranging reasonable adjustments, flexible working or training.
Eligibility
Working Well Norfolk is aimed at people who are:
Out of work – but motivated and want to take the step into employment
Already in work – but struggling in the workplace
Already in work – but absent due to long-term sickness and keen to return
We can support you if:
You are a resident of Norfolk
You’re aged 16 or over
You have a physical or mental health condition or disability (That’s any long-term health condition that affects your daily life, including mental health conditions such as low wellbeing, stress, anxiety, or depression. Or physical health conditions such as diabetes, asthma, or arthritis). You do not need a medical diagnosis
You’re entitled to public funds
If you are already in-work, you must have been employed for at least three months before joining
My adviser at Working Well Norfolk always listens to everything I have to say in such a calm way.
