Our Research
Family involvement has shown to be integral to desistance from crime. This was the basis in exploring the importance of family members within probation practice in our 2020 report: “The Family Involvement Project.”
Furthermore, we also contributed a chapter entitled “A view of probation and mental health after the pandemic” in the 2022 book, Probation, Mental Health and Criminal Justice, whilst our research into remote supervision during the pandemic was featured in Russell Webster and Sage Journals.
