PES Careers Information Advice and Guidance

On this education and employment programme our aim is to provide impartial advice to all prisoners about work and education whilst they serve their sentence and post release.

Supporting prisoner rehabilitation through education and employment

The PES Careers Information Advice and Guidance (CIAG) service acts as a guide, helping prisoners understand and access the various prison pathways available to them with tailored support and advice provided to help them navigate their time in prison.

By focusing on rehabilitation through education and work, this programme helps prisoners build a foundation for a more positive and productive life once they are released. With a commitment to help them discover new opportunities, overcome barriers, and develop the skills required for reintegration into society.

Eligibility

  • All referrals are made within prison, and all prisoners are referred to the service during their induction period
