Supporting prisoner rehabilitation through education and employment
The PES Careers Information Advice and Guidance (CIAG) service acts as a guide, helping prisoners understand and access the various prison pathways available to them with tailored support and advice provided to help them navigate their time in prison.
By focusing on rehabilitation through education and work, this programme helps prisoners build a foundation for a more positive and productive life once they are released. With a commitment to help them discover new opportunities, overcome barriers, and develop the skills required for reintegration into society.
Eligibility
- All referrals are made within prison, and all prisoners are referred to the service during their induction period
Support provided by this programme
1:1 support from CIAG advisers during induction period
Regular support throughout their time in prison
Referrals to work and education opportunities
Setting up meetings with employers on release
Regions served
This programme serves individuals in the following regions:
- Kent, Surrey and Sussex
- South Central
- South West
