Health and Wellbeing inspection
We’re extremely proud to be celebrating a recent positive report on our Personal Wellbeing services in Kent and Cheshire, following an inspection from the Operational and Systems Assurance Group (OSAG).

Seetec’s Personal Wellbeing (PWB) team work tirelessly, alongside colleagues in probation, to deliver a fully integrated, holistic and cohesive service; ensuring the support for participants is structured and relevant to each individual.

PWB Inspection reportThe team has a regular presence in the Probation Delivery Units and His Majesty’s Prisons and support participants in four key areas:

  • Lifestyle and Associates
  • Social Inclusion
  • Family and Significant Others
  • Emotional Wellbeing

All of which contribute to a positive personal development as they navigate their way through rehabilitation whilst on probation.

Regional Manager of our PWB service, Sian Davies-Sheldon, reflects on the glowing report.

She tells us; “We were extremely pleased that the results of our recent OSAG inspections recorded that, in all areas, our PWB Service delivery meets – or exceeds – Good Industry Practice (Green rating).

“It was also noted that the delivery of our PWB service had continued to improve since the 2023 audit.

“The report also recognised that there was a clear commitment from Seetec to deliver a quality service.”

Our Impact

Angela Smith, one of our dedicated personal wellbeing coaches, talks about the impact of her role; “I have been delivering sessions around the lifestyles and associates element of the PWB contract with Seetec since it started three years ago,” she says.

“It’s different to other interventions I’ve delivered in previous roles, in that it’s very person centred.

“We put the participant’s needs and goals at the heart of what we do, and what they want to achieve with us.

Angela talks about the PWB inspection results“I’ve had many participants give great feedback to me about how they have become more confident and are adding structure and routine into their day when before it felt chaotic or empty.”

Another of our personal wellbeing coaches, Lana Ogden, reflects on a ‘thank you’ card from one of her participants.

It was sent to Lana to show his gratitude for ‘supporting him in his darkest times.’

She tells us; “He always expresses how much he has got out of the sessions and really appreciates the support.

“I enjoy the role so much!

“Being able to help people every day is what I love about this job.”
